China Refrigeration Expo, founded in 1987, with the support of relevant government departments and participation of colleagues in the industry, has become one of the largest professional exhibitions in the world with the rapid development of refrigeration industry in China. The Expo was certified by UFI and FCS. It has shown a strong brand agglomeration effect, forming a multi-disciplinary publicity and display platform which integrated production, learning, research, use and media based on exhibitions and embodying the concept of "Internet +", with high-end forums and conferences as the carrier.

On April 12, 2017, sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council, the China Refrigeration Society, the China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association, the Shanghai Society of Refrigeration and the Shanghai Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute, the 28th International Exhibition for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation, Frozen Food Processing and Storage, was hosted by the Beijing International Exhibition Center in Shanghai, with a theme of “Ingenuity, Intelligence, Inclusion and Sharing”. 2017 is the year of the 30th anniversary of the founding of China Refrigeration Expo. Under the joint efforts of the China Refrigeration Society and the China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association, the exhibition center of the Expo has successfully finished the organization preparations for this exhibition. The indicators are the highest in history. More than 1,200 companies and institutions from 33 countries and regions participated in the exhibition, with a total area of 103,500 square meters and a net area of nearly 50,000 square meters. The 2017 China Refrigeration Expo brings together the most well-known brands in the global refrigeration and HVAC industry, attracting more than 60,000 professional visitors and users from more than 100 countries and regions around the world.

The organizers and professional exhibitors from home and abroad held a variety of theme forums, seminars and technical exchange meetings during the exhibition to comprehensively analyze relevant national policies, as well as hot issues, technology innovation and future development direction of the industry. The Expo this year will continue to carry out activities such as the declaration activities of "Innovative Products of China Refrigeration Expo", group tour of high-end professional visitors as well as in-depth exchanges and interactions. The organizing committee will continue to advocate the development concept of green exhibition and fulfill the social responsibility of the organizers. The organizing committee of the Expo, the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), the Ministry of Environmental Protection and other domestic and foreign institutions will jointly organize roadshows on ozone climate technology and industrial roundtables to discuss alternative technologies and routes for refrigerants to provide important information for the future development of the industry.

The development of China Refrigeration Expo, from small to large, from large to strong, has integrated the efforts of the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry, carrying the common vision of all industry colleagues. China Refrigeration Expo has developed into one of the three professional exhibitions in the global refrigeration and HVAC industry.
