- product introduction:R290 refrigerant, also known as refrigerant-grade propane, has the chemical formula C3H8. It is primarily used as a replacement for R22 and R502 refrigerants in low-temperature refrigeration equipment. Due to its flammability, R290 refrigerant is generally only used in low-temperature refrigeration equipment with a small charge of refrigerant, or as a component in low-temperature refrigerant blends. R290 is compatible with traditional refrigeration oils. High-purity R290 is used as a temperature-sensing medium, while superior and first-grade R290 can be used as a refrigerant to replace R22 and R502, compatible with the original system and lubricating oil, in central air conditioners, heat pump air conditioners, household air conditioners, and other small refrigeration equipment. R290 belongs to the category of hydrocarbon refrigerants; it has absolutely no damage to the ozone layer and very little greenhouse effect, making it the most environmentally friendly refrigerant available today. From an environmental perspective, almost all countries worldwide have no restrictions on the initial installation of R290 refrigerant in new refrigeration equipment or its use in after-sales maintenance processes.
