The DQ405 series electric modulating ball valve consists of the DQ series electric actuator and a ductile iron modulating ball valve. It is primarily used in central air conditioning chilled/hot water and heating systems to accurately control the flow of cooling and heating media according to actual requirements, preventing drastic temperature fluctuations and achieving the goal of precise real-time room temperature control.
This modulating ball valve features an adjustable flow ratio, high reliability, and long service life. It adopts PTFE-reinforced valve body seals and double EPDM valve stem seals. The integrated built-in flow distributor ensures reliable operation against reverse differential pressure. It has an equal percentage flow characteristic. The valve provides a high shut-off pressure of 1.4 MPa, with a rated working pressure of PN16 and a maximum working differential pressure of 0.35 MPa. It is equipped with a manual override function on the actuator. The working temperature range is -5°C to 121°C. It is suitable for water, steam, or 50% glycol-water solutions.
