- product introduction:Difluoromethane, commonly known as carbon difluoride, HFC-32, or R-32, is a halogenated hydrocarbon commonly used as a refrigerant. It is an ideal alternative to second-generation ozone-depleting substances (ODS) with excellent thermodynamic properties, possessing an ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) of 0 and a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 0.12. At room temperature and pressure, it is a colorless and odorless gas. Under pressure, it is easily compressed into a colorless and transparent liquid. It is non-toxic, non-flammable, readily soluble in oil, and sparingly soluble in water. It is typically not used as a standalone refrigerant but is usually mixed with other HFC products, depending on the component content, to form mixed refrigerants such as R407 and R410.
